Autumn-Winter 2009-2010 Campaign
Yesterday, we went to to buy groceries on Montague. After perhaps half of an hour, we started to head back. Due to my fast walking pace, some friends were left behind on the other side of Court, waiting for the green light to turn red (you probably understand why). While waiting patiently with my feet dead on the ground, a friend of mine decided to rest his elbow on my shoulder, making me to unbalance myself. I then struck a pose with my legs open wide, hands in my jeans pocket, all for the purpose of balancing. Then suddenly out of nowhere, this mid-aged man in a business suit and a cartable stood besides me, laughed with enthusiasm and struck the pose that I did. Odd enough, he left right after that, leaving me behind with confusion.
Not that this is important but that little story made my day. Who said New Yorkers are unfriendly folks? Maybe there are some out there but at random moments, you might just find yourself loving New York more and more, not just of her beauty.
