Native Americans

I recently just saw a video on the Academy Awards back in 1973. When Marlon Brandon was announced the winner of Best Actor for "The Godfather," Sacheen Littlefeather came up instead and refused the Oscar on behalf of the actor. She gave a summary of her speech about the way people treated American Indians.
I thought that was more than inspiring.  Something in her eyes, her shaky voice and her attitude make me awe. I think it was powerful, just like how Martin Luther King Jr. represented himself and his people peacefully. I thought she was courageous and Marlon Brandon was a good man (although I never heard of his name before). I can't post the video on my blog due to copyright; therefore if you want to watch it, search for it on youtube. This might be old news to you but to me, it contributes a lot to my love for Native Americans.
